Candle Care
Trim your wick before each lighting! If you are experiencing problems with smoking or your wick staying lit, it usually means your wick needs a trim. Wicks should be kept at 1/4" at all times. Your wick should be trimmed every 4 hours of burn time. This helps keep the flame the appropriate size for safety, and the longest possible burn time.
Cleaning & Recycling
When your candle has finished its journey, place it in the freezer overnight. Crack the wax with a knife and remove remaining wax. Wash out with soap and hot water. Viola! Now you have a brand new cali jar to reuse.
Safety
To prevent a fire, burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets. Keep wax pool free of any debris including wick trimmings. Avoid drafts, AC's, and fans. Only burn the candle on a level, fire-resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Stop use when only 1/4″ of wax remains.
